Item Number: GELEB
Manufacturer: Serola Biomechanics, Inc.
Solution for: Forearm Pain, Lateral/ Medial Epicondylitis, Golfer's Elbow, Tennis Elbow, and Bowling.
.............................................................................................................
Pain occurs when the forearm muscles become tight and pull on their attachment to a bony knob, called the epicondyle, at the elbow; the medial epicondyle for the front of the forearm and the lateral epicondyle for the back of the forearm. Activity causes additional pull and continues the pain cycle.
Relief is provided by placing a compressive barrier between the muscles and the epicondyle, effectively shifting the pull to the barrier. Taking the stress off the epicondyle helps prevent further injury and pain, and allows for more efficient healing.

NEAT SUPPORT BUT I AM NOT ABLE TO WEAR IT COMFORTABLY SINCE IT CUTS OFF MY CIRCULATION .I SUFFER FROM CHRONIC GOLFER'S ELBOW. IF I LOOSEN IT DOES NOT PREVENT THE MUSCLE FROM TUGGING ON THE BONE AND HURTING.DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I feel the strap is comfortable and gives support but not sure it is working any better than just using a normal wrap.

I just received the brace on Sat. I like the look of it. I do not have a patient in mind yet but will use it as soon as possible.

I love that this brace is a one size fits all and is even customizable for the patients with smaller forearm sizes. Additionally, the Gel insert can either give a broader more general pressure, or a more distinct ridge of pressure depending on the patient's tolerance. My patient found it more helpful to use the ridged side. When I gave it to her to try she immediately told me that she liked it better than her existing brace because it stayed in place once it was on and more importantly it alleviated more pain than her previous brace. Will definitely recommend this brace for others in the future!
